About Resonators in Wuthering Waves

Resonators are special equipment in Wuthering Waves that enhance your character's abilities and stats. Each character can equip up to 4 resonators across different slots: Core, Amplifier, Stabilizer, and Enhancer.

Resonator Slots

  • Core: Primary stat boost, usually focused on your main damage stat
  • Amplifier: Enhances your character's special abilities
  • Stabilizer: Provides defensive and utility bonuses
  • Enhancer: Offers specialized effects and unique bonuses

Set Bonuses

Equipping multiple resonators from the same set will activate powerful set bonuses. Most sets offer bonuses at 2-piece and 4-piece thresholds, with 4-piece bonuses typically providing unique effects that can significantly enhance your character's playstyle.

Resonator Rarity

Resonators come in different rarities from Common to Legendary. Higher rarity resonators have higher stat potential and can be leveled up further to unlock their full power.

Tips for Resonator Building

  • Focus on completing set bonuses that complement your character's abilities
  • Prioritize the right main stats for each slot based on your character's role
  • Don't neglect sub-stats - they can provide significant cumulative bonuses
  • Level up your most important resonators first to maximize resource efficiency

Advanced Resonator Building Guide

Understanding Resonator Stats

Each resonator provides both main stats and sub-stats. Main stats are determined by the resonator's slot and type, while sub-stats are randomly generated. Higher rarity resonators can have more sub-stats and higher stat values.

Resonator Leveling

Resonators can be leveled up using resonator EXP materials. Each level increases the value of both main and sub-stats. The maximum level depends on the resonator's rarity, with Legendary resonators having the highest level cap.

Set Synergies

While 4-piece set bonuses are powerful, sometimes a combination of 2-piece bonuses from different sets can be more effective for certain characters. Experiment with different combinations to find the optimal setup.

Character-Specific Builds

Different characters benefit from different stats based on their abilities and scaling. For example, characters with HP-scaling abilities benefit more from HP% resonators than ATK% resonators.

Farming Resonators

The best resonators can be obtained from high-level domains and world bosses. Daily and weekly activities also provide resonator materials that can be used to craft or enhance resonators.

Resonator Reforging

In the late game, you can reforge resonators to reroll their sub-stats or even change their main stat. This is an expensive process but can help perfect your builds for challenging content.
